How to Reach Sethan: Winter 4x4 Road Guidelines

1The 45 Hairpin Turns

Sethan is located 14 km uphill from Prini (Manali). The road climbs through 45 switchbacks surrounded by deodar pine forests. In snowfall, these bends become iced over.

2Forest Barrier & 4x4 Chains

Himachal Police and Forest Department enforce strict checkposts at Prini. Standard 2WD vehicles (sedans/hatchbacks) are strictly stopped when snow accumulates. Only 4x4 vehicles with tire chains are permitted.

3Our Shuttle Service

Don't stress about snow chains! We provide dedicated round-trip 4x4 snow transfers directly from your hotel in Manali town up to our basecamp in Sethan Valley.
